This multidisciplinary role has a key focus on designing, developing and implementing fully automated test procedures for all of our current and upcoming products in both software and hardware (e.g. VR headsets). This means that you will work with cloud-based software, software components on platforms like Android, iOS, Windows and are working closely with the other developers to design and develop functionally correct and tested code for our product releases. In addition, you’ll interact with our customers worldwide, encode and package VR video, develop your own tools to do QA testing and performance profiling, etc.What do we expect from you?As test- and development engineer you have a proactive attitude and a ‘can do’ mentality. You like to get your hands dirty and thrive in an atmosphere where there is a lot of diversity in your activities ranging from day-to-day IT challenges relating to our customers to coding or devising and executing complex testing procedures. You like to solve issues and take up challenges yourself without specifically being instructed and you have an easy outgoing personality that allows you to interact with customers. You are eager to learn and delivery of high quality code that has been thoroughly tested and documented is one of your passions. Above all, you’re excited about VR!To be successful in this role, you:- Are analytical, accurate, passionate and outgoing- Get excited about learning new technologies- Have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field- Recently graduated or finalizing your studies- Have experience with automated software test procedures and development- Preferably got experience with (or are interested in learning) Go, the language in which most of our core technology is written- Preferably have experience with Android and/or iOS software development, ideally in combination with Unity and/or OpenGL- Don’t have a 9-to-5 mentality- Have excellent communication skills and are fluent in EnglishWhat do we offer?A position in a dynamic start-up team that is growing.
