As a Procurement Excellence Manager in the Procurement Team within the Operations Department, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing our company spend under one channel. You will define processes and procedures that support spend oversight for the entire company while streamlining the procurement process. You will work closely with Finance to support evaluating potential ERP Suppliers with an eye on the E2E impact of a manufacturing footprint. You will support spend and ESG analytics, Supplier optimization and tenders when appropriate for both indirect services and direct materials. Your work will be essential as we scale to increasingly complex systems and deliver on the promise of quantum computing.

What you'll be doing (including but not limited to)

  • Plan and manage the centralization of purchase orders and contracts throughout the organisation.

  • Be the primary point of contact for request for purchases ensuring supplier optimization and risk mitigation.

  • Work with the cross functional team to establish an E2E ERP system appropriate for now and in the future for both indirect services and direct materials.

  • Develop spend analytics to support make vs. buy and TCO modeling decisions, category strategies and enterprise risk management profiles

  • Establishment of SOPs for the purchasing function

Your Profile

  • 5-7+ years of experience in supply chain procurement executing tenders, evaluating purchase orders and supporting contracts negotiations for indirect services and direct materials preferably in an advanced manufacturing setting.

  • Self-starter; motivated by working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment as an individual contributor and part of a team

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiating skills (English), detailed oriented and timeline driven

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, supply chain management

  • Strong expertise working in ERP systems that support purchase order approvals, contract creation, and monitoring such as, COUPA, ORACLE, SAP S/4HANA, etc. with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and Saas based platform tools such as Slack and Google workspace.

  • Familiarity with GDPR, CRA, GPSR, PLD, NIS2 guidelines and INCO Terms

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
