About Us
QuantWare is the world's leading manufacturer of superconducting quantum hardware. As a high growth start-up with a global customer base, our mission is to accelerate the advent of the quantum computer. We push the boundaries of what's possible in our field. We work on making the world’s largest quantum processors, as fast as possible.
At QuantWare, we’re not just producing quantum hardware for the hyperscalers of tomorrow; we’re working on technology that will change the world. To make that ambition a reality, we need exceptional people who drive real impact. That’s where you come in.
We’re building a new Kilofab to scale Quantware processes from our R&D lab. You will own the transfer, qualification, and day‑to‑day performance of your processes and the tools they run on. Accountability and ownership are core to this role.
What you’ll be doing
Finalise the 8" Kilofab tool list for your module(s), confirm specs with vendors, and define IQ/OQ/PQ plans, acceptance criteria, and golden recipes.
Create strong tool and process ownership for recipe creation and management across both production and development flows.
Set up the MES foundation for your area: define steps, BOM, data collection, SPC charts, and initial tool integration needs.
Map R&D processes to 8" pilot flows, defining specs, limits, and CTQs for each key step.
Drive tool installation and qualification (FAT/SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ) and ensure recipes and data flows are correctly integrated with MES.
Deploy SPC on critical steps, set limits, and configure alarms/holds in MES; contain OOC/OOS events quickly and prevent recurrence.
Run DoEs to close process windows, release first pilot product recipes, and optimise for throughput, cycle time, and yield in collaboration with Maintenance.
Keep SOPs, specs, and control plans up to date, and train/certify operators on new tools and processes.
Complete PQ lots to hit yield and Cp/Cpk targets and deliver first 8" silicon before Dec 2026, including a clear qualification report.
Maintain high tool uptime with Maintenance (OEE, MTBF/MTTR) and lock in stable, “golden” recipes for production.
Your profile
BS/MS/PhD in Engineering or a related Science field.
5+ years in semiconductor process engineering (Depositions, Lithography, Wet, or Dry etch/clean).
Experience in process transfer, tool qualification, and yield improvement.
Strong skills in SPC, DoE, and metrology for your module.
Hands-on experience with MES in a fab or pilot line.
Analytical, structured problem-solver with strong data skills.
-
Clear communicator, collaborative, with a strong ownership mindset.
