About Us

QuantWare is the world's leading manufacturer of superconducting quantum hardware. As a high growth start-up with a global customer base, our mission is to accelerate the advent of the quantum computer. We push the boundaries of what's possible in our field. We work on making the world’s largest quantum processors, as fast as possible.

At QuantWare, we’re not just producing quantum hardware for the hyperscalers of tomorrow; we’re working on technology that will change the world. To make that ambition a reality, we need exceptional people who drive real impact. That’s where you come in.

As a Measurement Engineer within the operations team, your mission is to ensure our devices perform at their very best. You will be responsible for characterising our quantum processing units (QPUs) and travelling wave parametric amplifiers (TWPAs), maintaining and upgrading our cryogenic measurement setups, and delivering data that drives our technology forward. Your work will directly influence the performance, reliability, and scalability of our products.

What you’ll be doing

Core responsibilities

Characterise our in-house QPUs and/or TWPAs and validate device performance through measurements.

  • Scale up our measurement setups to match growing product size and production volume, while automating tasks and streamlining workflows for efficiency.

  • Identify and troubleshoot failure modes in our devices and measurement setups.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in product, R&D, and operations.

Your profile

You don’t need to tick every box, but if most of these apply, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Hands-on experience with cryogenics, including operating dilution refrigerators.

  • Experience with RF/microwave instrumentation such as VNAs, spectrum analysers, and signal generators.

  • Knowledge of superconducting devices and their basic operating principles.

  • Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware and measurement issues.

  • Experience with Python-based programming language, system/task automation experience is a plus.

What We Offer:
