As an experienced TypeScript Backend Developer, you’ll be optimizing crucial parts of our website. You know your way around PHP, but your real superpower lies in designing and maintaining microservices in TypeScript. You make your colleagues happy by improving internal tools, so they have everything they need to offer our customers the very best service.

What does a Backend Developer Typescript at Coolblue do?

At Coolblue, you’ll be part of a close-knit, multicultural team of 3–7 developers as an experienced TypeScript Backend Developer. In our agile playground, you and your team are the masterminds behind the development of cool website features and the microservices that power them. You’ll regularly brainstorm with our Customer Journey Specialists and UX/UI Designers to create solutions that truly blow our customers away. Every day, you review pull requests, perform code reviews, and, together with your teammates, deliver the most beautiful and efficient code.

• Making an impact with your efficient and elegant TypeScript code.
• Writing automated tests, such as Unit tests, Integration tests, or End-to-End tests.
• Working in a cloud environment with AWS services like Lambda, SNS + SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.
• Solving problems using SOLID principles and design patterns to ensure top-notch code quality.

You recognize yourself in the following

• At least 5 years of experience with TypeScript. Experience with Node.js and pure/vanilla PHP is a plus.
• You have a BSc or MSc, for example in Computer Science.
• You’re ready to further develop your technical and soft skills while coaching and helping your colleagues grow.
