Anchored in the Visma Group, the ML Assets team provides group-wide services across Visma. We develop state-of-the-art machine learning APIs, including our products Smartscan and Autosuggest, widely adopted across Visma. Our products improve the work-life of millions of people worldwide by automating complex and manual work processes, empowering people’s everyday lives.

As our new Student Assistant, you will work closely with the ML Assets team and customers - companies integrating our APIs - to ensure that we maintain a strong relationship with our stakeholders in the Visma companies and continue to create meaningful impact for their end-users. You will play a central role in coordinating our commercial activities within the team.

As maternity cover the position is time-limited but with the possibility to prolong.

The position is part-time and designed for a student, with a 10-20 hr weekly workload, flexibly planned.

More specifically, you will be:

• Managing our existing portfolio of leads, in close communication with the Director of the team.

• Evaluating companies across various segments, mostly internal Visma teams but also external clients, to assess their fit with our use cases.

• Identifying new opportunities through a mix of networking, market research, and inbound leads, as well as exploring referrals using our customer relationship management (CRM) tool.

• Conduct customer outreach and keep a strong network with our current customers and stakeholders to facilitate project decisions, and explore potential solutions.

• Support our stakeholders during the onboarding process, with material and scheduling follow-ups.

• Identifying key decision-makers at all levels within companies to enhance our commercial strategies.

• Supporting the team in providing content for marketing initiatives, working with the team to ensure alignment with commercial goals.

Additionally, we expect the ideal candidate to have:

• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.

• A structured approach to your work and high attention to detail.

• An ability to present technical information in a clear and digestible manner.

• Strong people and communication skills including the ability to present technical information easily and understandably.

• Familiarity with commercial activities is a bonus.

To succeed in this role, you will develop strong relationships and secure engagement with key stakeholders, internally and externally. Proactive and close collaboration across the organisation is a key success factor for this role!

In the role, you will report to the Director of ML Assets. You will be part of a team of highly skilled and passionate people working with machine learning. The ML Assets team consists of engineers, data scientists, product and QA people. We're having a lot of fun working together while solving real-world problems, and there’s an exceptionally high degree of freedom to innovate and experiment.
