About WhisppWhispp develops real-time on-device speech technology to empower millions of people with a voice condition and people who stutter severely. Whispp enables communication by converting their whispered and affected speech into a clear and natural voice with the intended intonation on-device in real time. Whispp also enables private & discreet calls by whispering.Responsibilities- Designing, developing, testing and deploying on-device streaming speech AI models.- Keeping track of state-of-the-art speech technology research.- Strategizing the Whispp product development and AI technology roadmap.- Identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with academia and other tech companies.Requirements- Master’s in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science or Computer Science (PhD is a plus).- At least 5 years of experience in speech technology (Speech Synthesis, Recognition, Voice Conversion, Self-Supervised models, etc.).- Industrial hands-on experience implementing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems.- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch.Nice to have- Knowledge of digital signal processing.- Experience in developing or deploying low-latency edge models.- Experience in MLOps.- Experience in guiding research team(s) in developing AI-driven solutions.What we offerWorking at Whispp means being part of an highly innovative and impact-driven technology startup with a creative international team.
