As a NAUTIS Business Development Intern, you will be an integral part of our Commercial Department. In this role, you will get the chance to gain experience with all the aspects of the job of a Business Developer in our company. Together with our experienced team you will work on direct sales, engagement with new leads, support customer relations, and get the first taste of working in a commercial team.

We are looking for somebody with a proactive mindset, a keen eye for new opportunities and the ability to be in direct contact with clients and prospects. You are customer-focused, action-oriented, and dedicated to fulfilling your commitments. Team flexibility and reliability are essential qualities within our commercial team

In short, as a NAUTIS Business Development Intern you will get the chance to work on:

• Finding new leads, validating them, and distributing them among the Business Development team.
• Reaching out to new leads via email or phone.
• Handling leads for our product NAUTIS Home.
• Generating market reports.
• Supporting the business development team in analyzing tender requirements.
• Joining the Business Development team in events and customer visits (mostly Benelux and Germany).
• Supporting the Marketing Team in creating new content.

You are:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in commercial, business or maritime management direction, and in your 3rd or 4th year.
• Interested in the maritime industry and digitalization.
• A good listener and customer oriented.
• A team player, who is driven, passionate and motivated.
• Able to communicate fluently and professionally in English. Other languages are a plus.
• Positive; able to see opportunities around every corner.
• Result-oriented; going for the win.
• Located in the Netherlands.
