We are looking for an experienced Marketing Team Lead who will help us take the marketing team to the next level. The team is small; meaning that we are looking for someone who is not afraid to handle several projects simultaneously. You will work closely with Business Development, UX and our product teams, so good communication skills and pro-active behavior is a must. This leadership role requires a blend of creative vision, analytical and good communication skills to effectively manage the team, make sure we optimize the marketing processes, and get cohesive brand messaging across all platforms. As the Marketing Team Lead, you collaborate closely with other departments within the company to gather insights and tailor marketing strategies that resonate with our target audiences. By fostering a collaborative team environment and providing mentorship, the Team Lead ensures that each team member feels empowered to contribute their best work, fostering innovation and achieving results the team can be proud of.

Job description
Your activities will be:

• Develop, optimize and execute strategic and innovative marketing plans and strategies via various channels (digital, events and partnerships) that align with VSTEP's goals and objectives
• Have regular team meetings where you share your experiences and knowledge to help your team members face any issues that occur
• Provide the organization with the market and marketing input necessary for further development
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with business objectives and maximize lead generation and conversion
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to the management team
• Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of brand managers and intern(s)
• Join in for a drink after work with your colleagues

You have:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in Marketing Management, preferably within the maritime, simulation, computer based learning or educational technology industry
• Good communication, leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and technique
• A feeling for how to build a team and the brands they represent
