Job Description
As an Account Director, you’ll build new partnerships, work closely with our Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams, and turn conversations into business. You’ll represent VONQ to the outside world and help shape how we go to market.
Pitching, connecting, and inspiring – you’ll be at the forefront of recruitment marketing innovation, working in a team that challenges the status quo.
Key responsibilities
- Grow share of wallet: Identify new opportunities within existing accounts to expand our footprint across multiple business units, regions, or brands.
- Renew and retain: Lead the renewal process and ensure long-term partnerships by proving ROI and aligning with client goals.
- Cross- and upsell: Actively pitch new services and solutions tailored to your client’s recruitment challenges.
- Pipeline and forecasting: Maintain a healthy pipeline, track client performance and forecast revenue accurately in Salesforce.
- Client consulting: Understand the hiring needs, goals, and challenges of your clients and advise them on how to achieve success with VONQ.
- Campaign coordination: Collaborate with our Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to launch successful job marketing and automation campaigns.
- Represent VONQ externally: Meet clients face-to-face at industry events, on-site workshops, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications

And we hope you bring the following:
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or relevant experience
- At least 4 years of experience in sales, account management, or relationship management – ideally in recruitment, SaaS, or HR tech
- Strong communication and networking skills – you know how to connect with people and drive conversations forward
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution power
- Fluent English (Dutch is a plus), other European languages are a plus too
- Commercial mindset with a natural drive to understand customer challenges and offer solutions
