Job purpose

You manage Shypple’s Ocean Freight tradelanes.

You develop effective partnerships with carriers and subcontractors to ensure growth, cost-effective procurement and quality standards.

You have strong commercial relationships with shippers and carriers to retain, grow and win business and tenders.

You execute Shypple’s procurement strategy in a high-growth international environment and drive the company's commercial growth with data-driven and effective pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Grow your tradelanes at high growth rates with competitive margins

• Procure competitive market rates and manage allocations

• Develop and maintain relations with carriers and partners to ensure growth, cost-effective procurement and quality standards

• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure contractual obligations and service level agreements are met

• Win key customers through effective tenders and RFQs

• Retain customers, win new business, and negotiate with key accounts together with sales and account management.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement end-to-end logistics solutions for clients.

• Develop effective pricing tactics

• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement operations.

• Understand our specific vertical and country requirements and negotiate accordingly
