About SenseGlove

At SenseGlove, we are experts on touch in VR. SenseGlove’s first product is a force and haptic feedback glove with which digital environments can be felt and manipulated. Our first product came on the market in 2018 since we supplied our hardware and expertise to companies such as VW, Airbus, Scania, Honda, Cambridge University, TNO, Fraunhofer, Siemens, and many more. We are located within the high-tech incubator YES!Delft, where we work with a growing interdisciplinary team of more than 25 talents, consisting of a mix of senior and junior team members with a worldwide ambition to change how we interact with digital environments. Job Description

As Business Development Representative for SenseGlove, you will also closely work with our head of sales, marketeers and lead generators to convert (international) leads into clients. You will be responsible for the entire sales process, starting with being a detective and finding potential leads that are already using VR technology, reaching out to potential prospects hitting as many channels as possible to maximise connection and response rate via email and LinkedIn, landing your meetings with potential buyers, finding out the needs of the potential customer and building a vision of the future with them, pitch SenseGlove products with the customer’s solution in mind, negotiate the price with universities, research facilities, VR system integrators, and corporates enterprise customers, complete the SenseGlove after sales and pre-shipping process to ensure customers get what they have paid for and know what to do as soon as the hardware arrives, check-in with the client when they receive the hardware and assist if needed, schedule the next call to discuss project or proof of concept with our project management team, be the first point of contact if your customer needs anything.

Your Skillset & Experience

You fit well in our team and the position if you are enthusiastic, positive, a clear communicator, willing to take the initiative, and eager to share your opinion. In addition, the skills and experiences below are relevant:

 

Crucial

  • You are motivated by a career in sales
  • You are motivated by sales targets
  • You have initial sales experience (3+ years) and are target-oriented and competitive
  • Competent in understanding the SenseGlove technology
  • Advanced in the English language is a must.
  • Other languages such as German, Dutch, or another second language are preferred
  • Verbally assertive and the ability to effectively represent a tech company
  • A pragmatic approach with no fear of taking responsibility
  • Not afraid to be out of your comfort zone
  • You love making a direct impact on the growth and success of SenseGlove
  • Hard-working and can handle rejections
  • Residing in the Netherlands or willing to relocate
  • The ability to stand bad jokes

 

Nice to have

  • Affinity with virtual reality
  • Experience using software tools like Slack, Sales Navigator, or ActiveCampaign
  • Experience with sales to universities and/or R&D departments

What we offer?

  • This position will be based on 40 hours per week. You will work from our beautiful headquarters in YES!Delft and have the flexibility to work hybrid once comfortable and agreed with the manager after the first month.
  • The standard salary is determined based on your experience in the range of € 2500 – 3500 (based on full-time employment)
  • A bonus plan based on your sales performance.
  • 30 days of annual paid leave (based on full-time employment)
