This leads to lower costs and an increased safety and accessibility for everyone.We are looking for an InSAR Engineer for our team in Amersfoort and Rijswijk, with a strong drive for create insightful, applicable and intelligent solutions using the InSAR technology suite.The role: As an InSAR engineer, you will be helping our products and technology team by developing and maintaining the InSAR processing chain. This includes sustainable continuation but also developing and integrating new satellite constellations and innovative algorithms. As InSAR engineer, you translate complex theoretical knowledge to clear and relevant information towards colleagues and customers. Your responsibilities will be to:- Develop and maintain InSAR algorithms, in all parts of our processing chain- Evaluate the quality of produced data- Integrate and qualify new SAR sensors- Execute projects with innovative elements- Assist in the production of InSAR products- Share and communicate InSAR expertise within the teamRequired Qualifications:- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team- Proactive attitude in sharing knowledge and contributing to team goals- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical analyses into clear insights for internal and external stakeholders- An educational background or sufficient work-experience in Remote Sensing or related- Affinity with applications in civil infrastructure- Proven experience in developing InSAR algorithms, including Persistent Scatterer Interferometry (PSI)- Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL; proficiency in Java is an advantage- Fluent in English (minimum C1); proficiency in Dutch is an advantage- We prefer candidates who can work primarily from our office in AmersfoortIf you do not meet all criteria, you may still contact us if you can demonstrate strong potential.
