Support users and master our internal infrastructure – keep our crew connected so our technology can keep flying high.

As our IT Engineer, you support our users and implement applications while maintaining our vital internal infrastructure. You handle everything from day-to-day workplace setup to complex system maintenance alongside the broader business. You work closely with all colleagues internally, deal with IT suppliers, and report directly to the Head of IT. Your work keeps our daily operations running smoothly – ensuring our team has the tools they need to protect skies and wildlife.

What you'll do

  • User support and workplace management: Be the first, second, and third line of support for applications and infrastructure. Manage your ticket queue effectively to support day-to-day user needs. Troubleshoot and maintain workplaces, monitors, laptops, phones, door tags, and other peripherals.

  • IT onboarding and offboarding: Lead the IT onboarding and offboarding process for all incoming and departing colleagues. Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware components for end-users. Make sure every new team member has a seamless technical start.

  • Infrastructure maintenance and continuous improvement: Ensure that our internal IT infrastructure functions properly at all times. Identify and address technical problems promptly before they impact the business. Run regular system maintenance together with different teams to drive continuous improvement.

  • Documentation, security, and knowledge transfer: Manage and keep our IT processes and security documentation fully up to date. Transfer knowledge actively both inside and outside the IT team. Propose smart improvements and opportunities to help our organization mature over time.

What you bring

  • BA or HBO level in IT Engineering or a relevant field

  • Over two years of relevant IT support experience

  • Good troubleshooting skills and strong analytical capabilities

  • Basic general knowledge of software, hardware, and networks

  • Experience with networking or security systems is considered a great asset

  • Fluency in English, while a basic level in Dutch is an asset

  • Excellent communication skills across diverse cultures and backgrounds

  • A collaborative team player who can also work completely independently

  • Experience in an international or multi-cultural environment is a plus

  • An office-based mindset

N.B. Don't worry if you don't tick every box. Our mission is a journey, and there's plenty to learn along the way. If most of this fits, we'd love to hear from you.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a background check are part of our screening process. We appreciate your understanding.
