Step into the fast-growing world of radar technology - where your deep learning research directly shapes how we detect and track drones and birds in real time!
As an AI & Deep Learning Intern, you will immerse yourself in cutting-edge radar tracking and classification research, working alongside our AI team to help build the next generation of intelligent radar systems. You will take ownership of a high-impact research track, from literature review through to implementation and evaluation. This role is part of the AI team.
Responsibilities
Investigate state-of-the-art techniques relevant to your chosen research track, which may include Uncertainty Quantification, Temporal Aggregation, Architectural Adaptation, or Radar Track Clustering.
Adapt and implement deep learning strategies into our existing Python/PyTorch frameworks.
Develop metrics and evaluate the quality of uncertainty estimates or classification accuracy.
Investigate how your research improves downstream radar tasks, such as risk-aware decision-making or real-time drone detection.
Deliver a documented software framework and a comparative study of methods.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an educational institution, preferably pursuing an MSc in AI, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks, specifically PyTorch.
Strong understanding of neural network architectures (e.g., ResNet) and general deep learning concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Flexible and self-driven, comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
