As a Warehouse Operator, you will participate in the daily operations of our warehouse, taking ownership of receiving, storing, picking, packing, and scanning orders. Your role is vital in increasing efficiency and profitability while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction. By operating specialized equipment and maintaining rigorous inventory records, you will ensure our production and delivery processes run seamlessly. This role reports to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
Responsibilities
Responsible for receiving, storing, and organizing inventory for both parts and finished products.
Manage picking and packing production orders, as well as labeling products for shipment and parcels for delivery.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move goods safely and efficiently around the warehouse.
Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling inventory records.
Process paperwork such as bills of lading and shipping manifests accurately and perform product labeling for internal use.
Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards while identifying, proposing, and implementing process improvements.
Utilize warehousing management systems and ERPs to ensure all data and transactions are correctly recorded.
Coordinate effectively with internal teams like Production, Engineering, and Planning, as well as external vendors and shipping companies.
Requirements
Intermediate Vocational Degree or Certificate in a relevant field.
A valid Forklift license and a VCA license are required.
Over 3 years of experience in similar high-tech warehousing roles, with proven experience using ERP or warehouse management systems.
Fluency in written and spoken English. Dutch language skills are considered an asset.
Proficient in operating warehouse machinery and handling shipping documentation.
A team player with a "can-do" mentality who can work independently and drive continuous improvements.
This is an office-based role located at the Robin Radar premises.
