Reporting to our Financial Controller, you will essentially perform professional accounting work and collaborate with our friendly finance team and external advisors.

Responsibilities
Conduct research using primary data sources to analyze key financial themes and trends.
Deliver prescribed outcomes for designated financial control areas within established systems.
Provide support and advice to help others maximize the use of data management systems.
Support the preparation of data and analytics reports, including the annual financial audit.
Prepare complex documents and summarize data for special reports using standard office applications.
Resolve internal and external queries regarding complex processes, policies, and supplier information.
Contribute to the development of financial policies and protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
Identify and escalate instances of non-compliance with organizational policies or regulatory codes.
Manage accurate payroll processing, including data maintenance, manual payments, and reconciliations.
Requirements
BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related field;
5+ years of solid experience as an Accountant or relevant role within the Finance team;
Strong knowledge of accounting, tax and financial reporting principles and practices and regulations;
Mandatory in-depth understanding of Dutch labor law, wage taxes, social security categories, and industry-specific CAOs;
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Dutch;
Excellent knowledge of advanced Excel reporting and familiarity with ERP systems;
Experience in Payroll Administration (PDL®) and technical proficiency with Dutch-specific payroll software such as NMBRS, AFAS, or ADP;
Attention to detail and analytical acumen;
Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required.
