Do you like being ahead of the curve? To work on developing software for new market leading technology? As a Front-end Software Developer at Robin Radar, you will do just that!
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to directly work on our front-end software development and play a key role in how our radar technology is experienced by our users. You’ll collaborate closely with backend engineers to build interfaces that are as powerful as they are user-friendly. Expect a role that blends performance, design, and meaningful user experience.
Not only that, but they will be part of an amazing, growing and agile R&D Software Development Team. They will report to the team lead of the front-end team, who is there to support and guide them.
Responsibilities
Build, and maintain front-end applications in React (TypeScript).
Implement clean, reusable components with a strong focus on UX and responsiveness.
Contribute towards data visualization and mapping features.
Work closely with the backend team to create a clear and insightful presentation of data.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Working with other departments on technical issues.
Give direction to software programming and documentation development.
Requirements
BA/MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in front-end development.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, web technologies, React and HTML / CSS
Comfortable working with REST APIs and handling real-world data.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and a user-centered approach to interface design.
Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
Experienced in writing unit tests and test scenarios about your own work.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Effective communicator and team collaborator; fluent in English.
Live in The Netherlands, within commuting distance from The Hague.
Nice to Have
Experience with libraries Jotai and Mapbox-GL.
Experience with developing on Linux.
Experience with radar systems or a similar industry.
Worked with development methodologies like Agile/Scrum.
