About the role

The Revenue Operations Project Manager will play a crucial role in optimising and aligning our revenue-generating processes across various departments within the organisation. This individual will lead cross-functional projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams. This role will also hold a Process development responsibility, developing, implementing, and continuously improving processes related to sales, marketing, and customer success to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.

The goal is to enhance overall revenue performance and drive operational excellence. This role will be a strategic business partner to all GTM functions (sales, marketing and Customer Experience) as well as Finance and Product. This role will work cross-functionally with key business stakeholders and work closely with IT/Systems to drive improvements. This role will report into the Global VP Revenue Operations.

What you’ll be doing

    Project Leadership:

    • Lead end-to-end project management of revenue operations initiatives, from conceptualization to execution.

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

    Process Optimization:

    • Analyse and evaluate existing revenue-related processes to identify areas for improvement.

    • Lead the development and documentation of end-to-end revenue operations processes, including lead generation, opportunity management, sales forecasting, pricing, contract management, and renewal processes.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer success, to understand business requirements and design scalable processes that align with organisational goals.

    • Implement process improvements and automation solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance productivity.

    • Develop the Order to Cash processes in collaboration with Finance, to enable best possible low touch processes, both for new customer- and existing customer sales.

    Go To Market Management:

    • Territory planning: Manage the GTM territory planning processes and systems, including TAM analytics and reviews.

    • Own the Top Target Account management processes and the monitoring/reporting of relevant success criterias.

    • Own Account management processes and data accuracy, to enable the team to execute best in class customer journey playbook activities.

    Data Management:

    • Identify areas for improvement in data collection, entry, and management processes.

    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.

    • Regularly audit and cleanse data to maintain its integrity and accuracy.

    • Identify and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, and duplications.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and synergy.

    • Act as a bridge between departments, facilitating collaboration and understanding of each team's unique requirements.

    • Support Enablement Manager in development and delivery of training programs and documentation to educate sales, marketing, and customer success teams on new processes, tools, and best practices.

    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure adoption and adherence to standardised processes across the organisation.

    Technology Integration:

    • Evaluate, implement, and optimise revenue-related technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies that could positively impact revenue operations.

    • Work closely with IT and systems administrators to ensure seamless integration between various revenue operations systems, including CRM, marketing automation, quoting tools, and ERP systems.

    • Drive system enhancements and customizations to support evolving business needs and process requirements.

    Performance Metrics:

    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of revenue operations projects.

    • Regularly report on project progress and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 5+ years prior experience working in a Revenue operations team environment (Sales, Marketing or CX)

  • Proven experience (3 years) in project management, with a focus on revenue operations or related areas.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.

  • Familiarity with revenue-related technologies and tools.

  • A mindset and attitude of relentless simplification and driving continuous operational improvement.

  • Strong attention to detail and focus: This work will be used at the highest levels of decision-making.

  • Challenge the status quo with the goal of bringing in new innovative ideas and improving upon programs and processes.

The WOW-factor
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

  • Experience in B2B SaaS is a plus.
