About the role

The Compliance Lead - USA role is a critical job for our North American business. The role will help us build compliance into our products and solutions and will capture, validate and prioritize product requirements from the USA market. This role is the voice of the customer and market as it links to labor laws and the compliance of our WFM (WorkForce Management) solutions. It will liaise with customers, industry experts and counsel to ensure Quinyx products help customers to be compliant with local employment laws.

The labor regulatory landscape varies state-to-state (and even city-to-city) and as such poses significant operational challenges for our customers, especially those operating across multiple locations. The role will develop a deep understanding of the labor regulations that customers must interpret and comply with when scheduling, managing and paying their frontline workforces.

What you’ll be doing

The successful candidate must be able to efficiently understand and navigate documentation and discussions centered around labor laws.

The role will also identify the non-compliance product requirements that will accelerate growth in the USA market for Quinyx, by engaging with customers, prospects and the wider ecosystem, including attending conferences, networking events and other opportunities to create dialogue with stakeholders.

All defined, validated and prioritized needs must be concisely documented while capturing every important consideration. The role will then work together with Product Managers to translate that need into a solution that enhances the product offering.

The Compliance Lead - USA role is furthermore a key subject matter expert supporting our sales, marketing and customer success teams in winning and retaining customers and helping to position Quinyx as an authority on how to successfully navigate the regulatory landscape. It is a critical thought leadership role in seizing a significant market opportunity for Quinyx.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Experience implementing WFM solutions across multiple states in the USA (Preference for Retail, QSR or Warehousing/Logistics markets).

  • Understanding of the legislative areas and sources for updates to labor laws across different states.

  • Expert knowledge of WFM technology solutions.

  • Strong experience translating complex legal needs or solutions into well defined, accessible documentation.

  • Ability to understand and navigate labor law and legal concepts.

  • Analytical and thorough, with high attention to detail.

  • Self-starter, able to work independently.

  • Creative thinker and able to approach problems from different angles.

  • Strong collaborative team player, with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, able to defend a position against both internal and external scrutiny.

What’s in it for you?

We promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle with flexible work hours and the latest tools, enhanced vacation allowance, wellness, home office, professional development contributions, virtual yoga classes, and last but not least, you will have the chance to participate in our well-known yearly ping-pong tournament!
