Job Summary

DeepHealth employs people across 13 countries with main offices in the UK, the Netherlands, and Hungary. As we grow, our presence and employee base within Europe is expanding. For this role, we are looking for parttime support, reporting to our HRBP Manager, Europe, to help with HR Operations and HRBP activities in the Netherlands and across Europe. Reporting to the HRBP Manager, Europe, this role manages day-to-day HR operations with growing independence, supports policy development, and builds productive working relationships with employees and managers.

Please note: This is a part-time position of 24 hours a week for a fixed term with a possibility for extension.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Independently manages employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, system updates, and regulatory notifications (e.g., UWV)

  • Administers the HRIS system, runs and analyzes reports, and ensures data integrity and accuracy of personnel records

  • Manages compliance activities related to sick leave regulations (e.g., Wet verbetering poortwachter) and ensures timely notifications and filings

  • Drafts and updates HR policies and guidelines; serves as a knowledgeable point of contact for employee and manager policy inquiries

  • Provides guidance to employees and managers on HR processes, policies, and employment-related matters with minimal supervision

  • Manages routine employee relations matters and escalates complex or sensitive cases to senior HR colleagues as appropriate

  • Tracks, monitors, and reports on key HR dates, deadlines, and compliance requirements

  • Contributes to and supports HR strategic initiatives and projects

  • Participates in talent acquisition activities including conducting introductory interviews, screening candidates, and advising hiring managers on hiring processes

  • Partners with managers to support employee engagement and helps foster a positive workplace culture

  • Helps to build a people oriented culture within DeepHealth

Job requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required); advanced degree preferred

  • Experience (required/preferred)

  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role (required); or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

  • Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (required/preferred)

  • Knowledge of Dutch employment law and experience with Dutch sick leave regulations (Wet verbetering poortwachter) preferred

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms; experience with HR reporting tools (required)

  • Fluent English required; Dutch and/or French strongly preferred

Working Conditions

This is a hybrid position in the Netherlands.

Physical Requirements

This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. The position requires the ability to travel (~10% of time), drive a vehicle, and utilize other forms of transportation.

Salary

€30,000-€42,000 per year based off of 24 hours a week.

This position will initially be a fixed-term contract with possibilities for extension.
