WAT GA JIJ DOEN?

Als onderdeel van Team Operations ben je verantwoordelijk voor het grootste deel van het “leven” van onze robots, dat betekent van verkoop totdat ze volledig zijn afgeschreven. Qlayers is momenteel het Operations team aan het uitbreiden zodat we ons groeiende klantenbestand zo goed mogelijk kunnen ondersteunen op wereldwijd niveau.

Je zult een sleutelrol bekleden waarin je ons robotisch verfsysteem van A tot Z leert kennen. Je gaat de Qlayers robot in het veld bij klanten besturen voor commerciële projecten, ondersteuning bieden bij demonstraties op kantoor en in het veld, en je gaat trainingen aan klanten geven om ze ervan te verzekeren dat ze het systeem veilig en efficiënt kunnen inzetten. Als “gezicht” van Qlayers onderhoud jij contact en relaties op operationeel vlak met de klanten. Samen met je teamleider zorgen jullie ervoor dat de prestaties van het systeem onfeilbaar blijven door te diagnosticeren waar eventuele problemen vandaan komen en ze vervolgens op te lossen. Door continue verbeteringen in het operationele proces te ontdekken en te communiceren met je leidinggevende, zorgt het Operations team ervoor dat er nuttige input bij de ontwikkelingsafdelingen komt te liggen, waarmee zij op hun beurt de machine kunnen verbeteren.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

• Leer het verfsysteem van binnen en van buiten kennen
• Ondersteuning bij de voorbereiding van wereldwijd uitgevoerde projecten
• Bestuur onze robots bij demo’s op kantoor of bij de klant
• Onderhoud goede relaties met onze klanten, je bent het gezicht van Qlayers
• Train personeel van de klant om met onze innovatieve oplossingen te leren werken
• Zorg voor een goede terugkoppeling van beoogde verbeteringen aan de machine, benodigde ondersteuning en onderhoud naar je teamleider vanuit het veld.
• Voer preventief onderhoud uit op onze robots bij de klant.
• Diagnosticeer en los problemen met de machine op in het veld, dan wel op afstand vanuit kantoor, door mee te kijken naar de data.

Wie zoeken wij?
Professionele kwalificaties en competenties:

• MBO / HBO niveau van werken en denken. Achtergrond in de elektra, mechanica en hydraulica
• Minimaal 1 jaar werkervaring als operator of monteur. Ervaring in de Olie- en Gasindustrie is wenselijk, maar niet verplicht
• Is verbaal en schriftelijk comfortabel in het Engels
• Heeft het vermogen om individueel te werken en ook in teamverband
• Is goed georganiseerd en beschikt over een sterk probleemoplossend vermogen
• Staat open om internationaal te reizen (30-50%) en de uren werken die benodigd zijn om de klus te klaren.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Robot Operator, you will be in the team that is responsible for the biggest part of our robots’ life, that means starting from when they are sold to our customers until their lives end. Qlayers is expanding the Operations team to allow us to support our increasing customer base worldwide. You will be a key person that will know all the ins and outs of our systems.

You will operate Qlayers’ robotic coating system in the field at customers, assist on making demonstrations in house and at customer’s sites and you will give trainings to customer's personnel to make sure that they can operate our systems safely and efficiently. You will maintain close contact and relations with our customers. You will ensure the correct performance of our robots by diagnosing and solving system errors and performing preventive maintenance actions. You will align and provide feedback to department heads, as well as make Service and Maintenance reporting. You will have a key role in keeping the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities:

• Gain in-depth theoretical & practical knowledge of the Qlayers' robotic fleet
• Preparation of projects globally: assist team head in planning operations
• Operate our robots at demo’s of our systems in house and at customer's sites
• Maintain good relations with our clients, being the face of the company
• Train customers' personnel to work with our robotic equipment
• Provide service and maintenance reporting and give feedback to the relevant department heads.
• Perform preventive maintenance actions on our robotic coating systems at customer sites as necessary in the Qlayers Service and Maintenance strategy.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve system errors remotely or when required at customer locations in your region or worldwide based on Service Level Agreements and commercial commitments.
• Logging of client logistical requirements to maintain a high level of system performance allowing an exceptional level of Customer Satisfaction to be retained.

Whom are we looking for?
Professional qualifications and skills:

• MBO / HBO level of working and thinking. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics background is preferred
• Minimum 1 year of technical experience. Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is nice to have, but not mandatory
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch is nice to have
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment
• Has strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail
• Is willing to travel internationally (30-50%) and work the hours necessary to enable the business to continually exceed expectations.
