We’re Next Sense. We make sense of commercial real estate, driving innovation to create climate-neutral buildings. Using data and simulations, our platform slashes energy consumption by 50% and makes a multi-year investment strategy to help buildings align with ESG benchmarks.

Commercial buildings must adhere to a maximum use of 70 kWh per square meter, annually, to be labeled paris-proof. To date, only 3% of commercial real estate has achieved this and Next Sense aims to bring on board the remaining 97%. Already in 2024, legislating bodies, including the EU Taxonomy, CSRD and SFDR, are demanding organizations to include their carbon footprint data into annual accounts. As these requirements augment, so does the need for compliant reporting, which starts with data-driven buildings that have reduced energy consumption. Next Sense will do just that, by offering building owners performance insights that align with legislation and decarbonization options. Next to that, it will offer A.I. building control and performance optimization to owners, placing their projects onto the path to paris-proof.

To drive Nex Sense’s success, we are looking for an Account Executive who can translate a complex product into clear value for our clients. These are large real estate funds, international corporations and anyone managing a portfolio of commercial real estate. Being directly in touch with our ecosystem, you will also be the voice of that market internally that helps shape the future of our product with your insights.

You will..

.. create and pitch commercial proposals to different stakeholders (both technical and commercial) in the decision-making unit of a project, making use of financial and technical input from different experts on the team.

.. build and execute a healthy pipeline of top prospects. Sign them and make them successful.

.. determine how Next Sense can optimally serve the needs of real estate funds and occupiers.

.. generating winning proposals that lead to successful projects supported by your colleagues.

.. you will act as an ambassador internally and externally and represent Next Sense’s values at conferences, client gatherings and other events.

You are..

.. an experienced commercial professional with proven track record in complex solution SaaS sales processes. You have worked with major global corporations and know the decision-making structures of these companies.

.. comfortable in talking to C-level of major corporations and have preferably done that before.

.. someone who can understand technical discussions and be a partner for both commercial and technical-oriented clients and colleagues.

.. a strong communicator who knows how to listen and build long-lasting relationships.

.. equipped with a strategic mind that always looks for opportunities.

.. you are fluent in both English & Dutch. Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.
