The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for expanding relationships with new strategical customers in areas such as the food packaging industry and/or the piping industry. Leading strategic projects and partnerships to create new avenues for growth. The Manager represents the entire range of company products to assigned industries, while leading the customer account planning process and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company. The candidate will directly report to the company’s CEO.The ideal candidate has strong relationships within our current market and the above-mentioned industries.Responsibilities- Drive new business through the identification, development and onboarding of new accounts (focusing on the EU-market)- Expand, build and nurture relationships with key/strategic accounts- Establish productive and professional relationships with assigned customer accounts across the entire portfolio to achieve sales growths and objectives- Demonstrate leadership and decision-making competencies in adjusting strategy to account for local factors or market shifts- Build and execute strategic account planning that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.- A well-established commercial network is strongly preferred along with a progressive knowledge of industry trends- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others- Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate well and think quick on your feet- Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal skills- Results orientated, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and self-motivating- Dutch and English are the main languages.
