Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team. This position, will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees across both our office area and production hall. This individual will be responsible for overseeing compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and fostering a strong safety culture within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Define and prioritize the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E) roadmap in collaboration with an external HSE company.
- Training and Education: Conduct safety training sessions for employees, covering various aspects of workplace safety.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR and Operations to maintain and enhance the company's safety culture.
- Incident Management: Investigate and report on any workplace incidents, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented to prevent future occurrences.
- Safety Programs: Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Emergency Preparedness: Oversee emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve HSE practices and policies.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as an HSE Officer or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Training Skills: Ability to design and deliver effective safety training programs.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with various departments and external partners.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety management.
