Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Process Operator to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you'll operate various research and test equipment, focusing on the daily operation of high-pressure autoclaves and eventually transitioning to a continuous high-pressure process on a shift schedule. This position is based at our Rotterdam R&D campus, located at the innovative RDM Campus in central Rotterdam.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Support: Collaborate with and support the Operations Lead on various operational and process activities, stepping in during their absence.
• Production Optimization: Help optimize planning and production runs to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Improve operational procedures, documentation, training materials, and HSE procedures.
• Project Delivery: Manage Operations-specific follow-ups for assigned project stages and lead/support commissioning and start up
• activities.
• Collaboration: Partner with the engineering team to ensure systems are designed and built for efficient and safe operations.
• Test Setups: Design and perform customized test setups for operational prototyping.
• Training: Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of work quality, adhering to SHE and quality benchmarks.
• Maintenance: Lead or support maintenance activities and liaise with third parties as necessary.
• Inventory Management: Purchase materials, plan inventory, and ensure efficient warehousing.
• Compliance: Ensure processes remain legally compliant and find ways to increase the quality of customer service.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: VAPRO-C or equivalent BOL-4 operator education additional technical education preferred.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
• Experience: 7-10 years as a process operator, with leadership or training experience.
• Expertise: Proficiency in Standard Operating Procedures and maintenance activities.
• Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Growth Mindset: Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
• Attitude: Collaborative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Specialization: Experience in operational excellence and continuous process optimization.
