About the job

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to lead the development of both backend systems and user-facing applications that power our SmartBin and SmartDispenser products. You’ll help evolve our architecture, design robust APIs, and deliver intuitive interfaces - supporting real-time machine data, customer engagement tools, and operational dashboards.

This is a key role in a high-impact, cross-functional product team working on embedded systems, smart incentives, and circular packaging infrastructure.

Your day-to-day

• Lead architecture planning and technical roadmapping.
• Design and implement backend services for hardware integration, incentive systems, and partner APIs.
• Develop and manage secure APIs, state machines, and job queues for real-world hardware interactions.
• Collaborate across hardware, product and design teams to ship production-ready systems.

• Backend: Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, BullMQ
• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Netlify
• Infra: GitLab CI, CircleCI, Linux servers (hardening/migration planned)
• Other: InfluxDB, Grafana, MQTT for real-time communication
