Role
We are looking for an independent and proactive People & Culture (P&C) Manager. In this role, you will take ownership of a wide range of people, culture, and organizational development activities within a dynamic and fast-growing quantum technology company.
As our dedicated P&C professional, you will be both a trusted sparring partner for the leadership team and the go-to person for the entire organization. You will help shape our people strategy, drive recruitment and selection, and foster a strong and positive culture that reflects our mission and values. With OrangeQS in a strong growth phase, this role offers you the opportunity to shape your position and quickly grow into a leadership or senior role.
You have an eye for people, a strong sense of organizational needs, and the ability to support both the team and leadership in taking OrangeQS to the next level.
Because this role involves regular interaction with Dutch governmental institutions (including the IND, UWV, and the Tax Office) and handling employment‑related matters, a solid understanding of Dutch labour law is essential. Therefore, proficiency in Dutch at a minimum B2 level (preferably C1) is mandatory, along with the ability to navigate formal processes and communication confidently.
Responsibilities
- Act as the trusted P&C partner for management, supervisors and employees on all HR-related matters.
- Lead recruitment, selection and onboarding processes to support organizational growth.
- Manage personnel administration, including maintaining employee files, drafting contracts and handling employer statements.
- Promote and nurture a positive company culture aligned with our mission, vision and values.
- Develop, improve and implement HR tools, processes, and personnel policies.
Qualifications
- Experience & expertise: 3–5 years of relevant experience in HR, P&C, or organizational development, ideally in a startup/scale-up or tech environment.
- Education: Background in HR, business administration, psychology, or a related field.
- Recruitment skills: Proven track record in attracting and selecting talent, with an eye for both skills and cultural fit.
- Hands-on & proactive: Comfortable switching between strategic initiatives and operational tasks in a dynamic, fast-growing company.
- Strong communicator: Able to connect with people at all levels and provide thoughtful guidance to leadership and team members.
- Organizational builder: Enjoys helping in shaping processes, policies, and culture in a growing organization.
- Mindset: Open, curious, empathetic, and driven to help people and the company grow together.
- Language: Proficiency in English, Dutch B2 level required (preferably C1)
