About OrangeQS

OrangeQS offers products to test quantum chip performance. Creating the test equipment and protocols needed to obtain relevant information about this performance requires extensive development time and expertise.

Our easy-to-use tools provide our customers with fast and reliable testing of quantum chips. Our products are the result of a seamless integration of our proprietary testing protocols and carefully selected measurement and control hardware components. All these developments will enable us to deliver industrial-scale quantum chip testing with high throughput.

Role

In your role as Technician, you will work in the Production and Testing team to assemble, test and assure the quality of our OrangeQS MAX and OrangeQS FLEX products. You will support our engineers with a wide range of activities: soldering, mechanical assembly, cabling, basic programming, etc. You will support the building and testing of OrangeQS systems in-house and travel to customers to build OrangeQS products on-site.

As a Technician at OrangeQS, you will interface with team members inside and outside the Production and Testing team to provide feedback on your experience with assembly, testing and delivery. You will contribute to the improvement of these processes with creative ideas and proactively implement them.

Responsibilities

  • Product Assembly: Work with design engineers to build both OrangeQS MAX and OrangeQS FLEX products.
  • Technical Support: Use a wide range of hands-on skills to support multiple teams within the company: soldering, electrical wiring, cabling, mechanical assembly, etc.
  • Quality Assurance: Work with testing systems put in place to assure quality of products when delivered on-site.
  • Basic Programming: Use simple programming to interface with test equipment and OrangeQS systems to show basic functionality.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with multiple teams to meet assembly and deliver needs determined by design engineers.

Qualifications

  • HBO or MBO related to electrical and/or mechanical engineering sciences
  • Experience with assembly of electrical and/or mechanical systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Basic understanding of programming languages
