If you’ve ever paid other users on platforms like Marktplaats, eBay-Kleinanzeigen, and Gumtree, or booked a holiday home via Nature.house or Micazu - then you’ve already met us. Our technology doesn't just arrange payments, it also allows platforms and marketplaces to accept, hold and disburse funds for their users. Thanks to our development team that works on the architecture of our platform: a rapidly scalable backend that restores the term big data to its former glory - we serve about 15 million consumers and businesses and handle billions worth of transactions each year. The setting is disruptive: we build just about everything we come up with ourselves. Being one of our DevOps Engineers you get to take our infrastructure to the next level and prepare us for the future. We may not be a Google or Oracle yet, but we're heading in that direction. Become part of our amazing development team and:

+Optimize the lifecycle of our software - from code to release.
+Design, build and implement cloud solutions that perfectly fit within our AWS environment.
+Focus on setting up new workflows, monitoring and testing performance and introducing tools and new technologies. Think of docker, microservices and containerization.

Your track record tells us

+ At least 4 years of relevant working experience

+ You’re an A-class pro in AWS
+ You have experience with high-traffic, high-performance platforms.
+ Broad knowledge of automation and infrastructure
+ Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Kubernetes en Terraform (or Cloudformation).
+ You know your way around application testing
+ You know how to keep infrastructure stable, scalable, and secure.
