Role:

We're looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our leadership team. As our CTO, you will balance operational responsibilities with strategic planning, leading our technical team, and ensuring our platform aligns with our ambitious growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and handle day-to-day technical operations, including feature development, troubleshooting, and user experience enhancements.
• Ensure the scalability, efficiency, security and maintainability of our systems to support our rapid growth.
• Collaborate with the CEO and COO to integrate technological advancements with the company vision.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of our technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative engineering culture and provide technical leadership to our development team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• At least 2 years of full-time working experience in a technology leadership role.
• Proficiency in our tech stack (React, Node.js, AWS) or Python.
• Prior experience working in or leading a tech team at a startup is preferred.
• Must be based in the Netherlands, specifically in the Rotterdam or Amsterdam region.
• You care about and understand business beyond tech alone. You understand the impact of A on B, and can see the bigger picture. You’re an excellent communicator.

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a salary with the addition of Stock Appreciation Rights (SAR), or a management fee with equity - depending on your profile we can align which option would work best for you.
