Engagement Manager - Mendix & RapidMiner (UK)
Rotterdam, Netherlands
EUR 85,100-161,600 / year + Equity
About the Role
Siemens is looking for an experienced Engagement Manager to lead and grow our Mendix & RapidMiner delivery practice in the UK. This is a client-facing team lead role at the intersection of people leadership, commercial ownership, and professional services delivery – designed for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment and knows how to build lasting client relationships while driving a high-performing team.
You will be part of the EMEA Delivery organisation, reporting into the MXRM Delivery leadership, and working closely with Engagement Managers, Solution Architects, and other functional leads across the region.
What You'll Do:
-
Commercial & Client Ownership
Own the services revenue and bookings within your client portfolio – including renewals, extensions, and expansion of existing delivery engagements
Identify opportunities to grow the scope and value of ongoing services, working in close collaboration with Specialized Account Executives and Technical Account Managers who own the broader commercial relationship
Act as the senior services point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement health
Support pre-sales activity where services expertise is required – scoping, effort estimation, and proposal input
People Leadership
Lead and develop a team of consultants as a hands-on manager – close to the work, accessible, and actively involved in day-to-day team dynamics
Foster a high-performing team culture built on accountability, trust, and continuous improvement
Coach team members on delivery quality, professional development, and client interaction
Conduct regular 1:1s and performance conversations, and act as an advocate for your team within the broader organisation
Delivery Oversight
Maintain oversight of project health across your portfolio – escalation point for delivery risks, resource challenges, and client satisfaction issues
Collaborate closely with Siemens project managers and Solution Architects to ensure seamless delivery
Drive consistency in delivery standards in line with the EMEA Practice Blueprint
What You Bring:
Proven track record in a client-facing, commercial role within professional services, consulting, or technology services – with demonstrable experience in services revenue and bookings ownership
Demonstrated people leadership experience – you have managed, coached, and developed teams and take genuine pride in the growth of others
Strong stakeholder management skills – comfortable operating at senior client level and navigating complex organisations
Conceptual understanding of low-code/no-code platforms, data science, or enterprise software – you don't need to build it, but you need to understand it well enough to lead credibly
Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus
Background in management consulting or IT professional services
Experience working in a matrix organisation or cross-regional delivery model
Familiarity with Mendix, RapidMiner, or comparable platforms
