About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly organized, process-minded Operations Specialist to help scale and streamline the programs that power our global developer ecosystem. From certification logistics and content publishing to community programs and contributor enablement, this role is central to making sure our operations run smoothly, consistently, and efficiently.
You’ll work across three interconnected areas—Developer Learning, Community, and Documentation—ensuring the day-to-day execution of our programs is optimized, data-informed, and ready to grow. This role goes beyond keeping things running—you’ll identify what’s not working, propose improvements, and help build better processes.
You’ll work closely with program owners and product stakeholders, applying an Agile mindset to continuously improve how we deliver value to developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Streamline & Improve Ops: Audit and optimize operational workflows across Academy, Certification, Documentation, and Community programs—identifying friction points and scaling solutions.
  • Own Key Processes: Manage essential recurring operations like certification logistics, contributor onboarding, localization coordination, and content publishing schedules.
  • Tooling & Automation: Improve how we use internal tools like Jira and Confluence to manage workflows, track progress, and document processes. Collaborate with teams to build dashboards, templates, and automation that reduce manual effort and improve visibility.
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Act as a central point of alignment between learning, community, and documentation teams—ensuring that shared operations are clear, consistent, and scalable.
  • Support Contributor & Partner Programs: Help manage contributor pipelines (e.g., trainers, authors, community leaders) by improving onboarding flows, maintaining communication touchpoints, and enabling their success.
  • Track & Report: Build and maintain lightweight reporting structures that help teams understand program performance, operational health, and areas for improvement.

What You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, program coordination, or process/project management—ideally in a tech, SaaS, or developer-focused environment
  • Solid experience working in an Agile environment—you understand iteration, prioritization, and how to balance structure with flexibility
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence—with the ability to create and manage project boards, workflows, templates, and process documentation
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; you’re the person who spots inefficiencies and proactively suggests fixes
  • A collaborative mindset—able to work across teams and functions with clarity and empathy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially around documenting processes and changes clearly
Why Join Us?
This is your opportunity to help shape and scale the operational backbone of a global developer ecosystem. You’ll enable smoother processes, faster collaboration, and more impact across the programs that support Mendix developers as they learn, grow, and contribute. If you love solving operational puzzles, improving how teams work, and supporting meaningful programs—this role is for you!
