As an Intern - Social Impact & DEI at Mendix, you’ll be an essential part of our mission to foster a more inclusive and impactful tech industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful programs focused on societal impact and DEI, and make a tangible difference in the lives of many.
What you’ll do
This role is perfect for you if you’re eager to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful change. You’ll work on initiatives that combine social impact and DEI, creating programs and content that inspire change and amplify Mendix’s commitment to inclusivity and sustainability.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of projects related to social impact and DEI initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the realms of social impact, DEI, and sustainable marketing.
- Support the creation of marketing materials, including content for social media, blog posts, and promotional campaigns, with a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and social responsibility.
- Help organize and participate in events and activities that promote Mendix's commitment to social impact, DEI, and sustainability.
- Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to enhance Mendix’s impact across social and DEI initiatives.
- Actively engage with colleagues and stakeholders to foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You are available for a 6-month assignment, with an availability of a minimum of 32 hours per week, starting in February / March 2025
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social sciences, such as Marketing, Communications, HRM, or a related field, with a passion for social impact and DEI.
- You have an affinity for social impact, sustainability, CSR, and DEI, and you are dedicated to creating equitable pathways for all.
- You have strong writing and storytelling skills or a strong desire to develop them.
- You have excellent communication skills in English
