About HousingAnywhere
HousingAnywhere is Europe’s largest rental accommodation marketplace. With the full ownership of Kamernet and the acquisition of majority stakes of Studapart, the company represents 30 million+ yearly unique visitors, 160,000+ properties available for rent and 100,000+ tenants finding their new homes in Europe, based on the 2022 performance. Young professionals and students, mostly aged between 18 and 35, looking to rent a home are matched with accommodation providers; ranging from private real estate owners to large-scale property managers. Through its advanced platform, tenants typically book longer stays outside of their country of origin and rent accommodation for 3 to 12 months. The Rotterdam-based technology scale-up currently employs 260 people.

About the role
We're looking for a UX Writer to join our UX team. This position requires a passion for plain language and a deep understanding of how language can influence the user experience. You will create and review various forms of interface content — product copy, landing page content, transactional emails, help articles, and more — to help the business and our users succeed in their goals. You'll work closely with designers, researchers, and product owners to deliver UX solutions that drive engagement. This isn't a marketing or social media role.
As a mid-level UX Writer, you'll be supporting multiple teams. The UX team is growing, so your work will impact our products and how the product writing practice evolves in the company.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, concise, purposeful user interface and supportive content.
- Review and edit copy to ensure it aligns with the brand's voice & tone guidelines.
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive product and feature adoption.
- Validate your copy to determine its effectiveness.
- Use voice-of-customer data to inform and back your copy decisions.
- Maintain and contribute to our evolving content guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Native-level fluency in English.
- 2+ years UX writing experience, preferably in a product-focused environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of UX copywriting, user-centered design principles, and best practices.
- Impeccable grammatical and proofreading skills.
- Attention to detail while working on multiple projects.
- Comfortable iterating based on research findings and team feedback.
- Ability to create and present digital mockups of your content (E.g., Figma) is a plus.
- Multilingual project experience is a plus.
What’s in it for you
- Diverse international community (46+ nationalities).
- Hybrid working policy.
- Unlimited paid holidays, minimum-based not maximum.
- 1,000 EUR personal development budget.
- Complete coverage for commuting.
- Personal equipment, including laptop and ergonomic setup.
- Relocation support & 30% ruling application assistance.
- Gym membership discount with GoVital or OneFit.
- Variable pension scheme.
- Dutch/English classes budget.
- Fun team-building and after-work drinks every Friday.
