Gradyent is a leading software provider that helps cities and heavy industry decarbonise faster by digitising, optimising, and transforming their heat networks with our Digital Twin. We are scaling the platform globally and looking for a driven Senior Product Analyst to support our product team.
What you will do
Our tech team consists of three teams: the Back-End, Front-End and Digital Twin team.
We are looking for an experienced Python software engineer to join our Digital Twin team (currently consisting of software engineers, AI engineers, Data Scientist/Analyst and physics engineers).
As part of the Digital Twin team, you will be working on a layer of intelligence (a combination of physics, mathematics and machine learning) that analyses and optimizes heat networks. As a growing company, scalability and stability is becoming more important. Will you join us to help realize our ambitions of bringing our software standards to the next level?

Responsibilities
Designing and implementing new functionalities
Refactoring for maintainability, performance, and scalability
Suggesting and implementing software enhancements
Writing scalable and efficient code where performance is key
Managing and improving test automation
Working with team members in bringing coding standards to the next level

Collaborating with Back-End and Front-End teams
Who you are
5+ years experience in Python software development
BSc/MSc in computer science or equivalent on-the-job experience
Familiarity with AWS and REST API
Team player
High degree of ownership and strong intrinsic drive
Understanding databases and SQL
Attention to detail, structured way of working
Pandas, numpy, matplotlib, numba, scikit-learn shouldn’t surprise you
Knowledge of thermodynamics and/or machine learning is a plus but not required
