Position Summary:
As the first commercial hire and Head of Growth, you will be instrumental in expanding our customer base and business operations. This role requires hands-on leadership in direct sales and marketing activities, strategic growth planning, and team leadership. Working directly with the founders and cross-functional teams, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of our market and use this insight to drive business strategies and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth Strategy Development: Craft and implement strategies to drive business growth and increase market share.
  • Marketing and Sales: Execute and Lead marketing and sales efforts, setting up and managing a dedicated team to ensure that growth strategies are well-integrated with overall business objectives.
  • Data Analysis and Metrics: Utilize analytics to inform strategy decisions and monitor the effectiveness of growth initiatives.
  • Customer Acquisition: Develop innovative programs to attract new customers.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and assess new markets, including international opportunities, to expand the company’s reach.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Build and mentor a high-growth-oriented team.

About You:

  • Experience: At least 5 years in growth/marketing roles with a proven track record in scaling business operations within tech-driven environments.
  • Strategic: Exceptional ability to formulate growth strategies that align with business goals.
  • Analytical: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and metrics to drive business decisions.
  • Innovative: Passion for embracing challenges and crafting creative solutions to market and growth obstacles.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to communicate strategies and results at all levels of the organisation.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with rapid changes in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Hands-On: Willing to engage actively in day-to-day sales and marketing activities while scaling and leading a team.

Nice to Have:

  • Startup Experience: Prior role in a fast-growing startup environment.
  • B2B SaaS Experience: Familiarity with SaaS business models and strategies.
  • International Market Exposure: Experience in scaling businesses internationally.
