\nAt Edorado we are convinced that all conventional powerboats will be replaced by fast electric foiling boats. We are developing the technology to drive this new archetype of boats. Edorado’s boats rely on computer controlled artificial stability based on inputs from sensors, smart algorithms and electromechanical actuation of the hydrofoils.
\nFor several years we have been developing our own proprietary technology with a small and dedicated team. Through several generations of prototypes, iterations of hard- & software and a lot of testing on the water, we finalised the first generation of this system. We are now looking to expand our team with a talented electronics engineer, to further speed up this development and prepare the Edorado 8S for market introduction.
\nTHIS IS WHAT YOU DO
\n- \n
Design and realisation of;
\no\tPCBs for subsystems, often equipped with:
\n> Small or medium MCU
\n> Communication (CAN/Serial/etc)
\n> Hardware inputs (switches/potentiometers)
\n> Simple output (LEDs)
\no\tpower drivers:
\n> Voltages up to 600V
\n> and/or currents up to 100A
\no\tFirmware (bare-metal c++) for these PCBs (in collaboration with the software engineer)
\no\tTest setups for these PCBs and the complete system
\no\tIndustrialisation of the electronic system

- Join a team led by our Senior Electronics & Control engineer and collaborate with an Embedded Software engineer and a mechanical Engineer. The electronics team deeply integrates with the other disciplines within Edorado such as Naval Architecture, Hydrodynamics, Mechanical engineering and User Interface. \n
- As Edorado expands into new (larger) models and new markets, you will continue to evolve and improve the electronics, based on real world use cases. \n

THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED
\n- \n
- A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (HBO level) \n
- 5+ years of Electronics Engineering experience \n
- Good project management skills \n
- Skilled in PCB design software such as Altium Designer, SolidWorks PCB or Easy-PC \n
- Experience in working with stepper motors is a plus \n

\nRemunerations are in line with the weight of the position. Flexible working hours are possible after consultation. For several years we have been developing our own proprietary technology with a small and dedicated team. o Firmware (bare-metal c++) for these PCBs (in collaboration with the software engineer)
o Test setups for these PCBs and the complete system
o Industrialisation of the electronic system
