Company Description
At Sana Commerce we're committed to an inclusive environment and recognize that our diverse workforce is one of our greatest strengths.
It all started in 2007, with a pizza and a plan. Sana Commerce is an e-commerce platform designed to help manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers succeed by fostering lasting relationships with customers who depend on them. We’re a fast-growing SaaS company that allows you to take ownership of your career.
At Sana Commerce, we’re on a mission to revolutionize B2B e-commerce analytics—and we need a Product Manager - Data Value Services to lead the charge. Our analytics product, Sana Commerce Insights (SCI), is uniquely positioned in the market, combining online sales data, offline sales data, and web analytics into a single powerful tool. This gives our customers unparalleled visibility into their e-commerce performance, enabling them to drive adoption, optimize sales strategies, and unlock new business opportunities. SCI is a strong USP for our Sana Commerce as a whole, as it can maximize the value our customers get from their platform.
We’re not stopping at static dashboards. The future of analytics lies in predictive insights, automation, and actionable recommendations, and more. As our Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of this evolution—defining SCI’s north star, shaping its roadmap, and working directly with engineers, data scientists, and software developers to bring your vision to life. You’ll also engage with customers, internal stakeholders, and technology partners to ensure SCI continuously delivers cutting-edge insights that drive business impact.
Job Description
What you'll be doing:
Define the vision and roadmap for our analytics and data products, focusing on scalable, insight-driven capabilities that power customer success and product adoption.
Prioritize and lead initiatives that evolve SCI from reporting into a predictive and prescriptive analytics platform.
Partner with engineers, data scientists, and architects to shape data pipelines, model development, and embedded analytics services.
Work with other product area product trio’s to ensure insights are usable, contextual, and drive action across the webstore and admin experience.
Manage tradeoffs and navigate complexity: working with GDPR constraints, an evolving data architecture, and business model constraints, while balancing the strategic needs and highest-impact product features.
Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to align analytics value with sales enablement, customer onboarding, and revenue impact.
Define and monitor MVPs, KPIs, and validation signals for all analytics-driven initiatives.
Shape our thinking on data platformization: How can core capabilities (e.g. churn scoring, personalization) be reused across multiple journeys?
What you'll bring:
5+ years of experience as a product manager or product owner in a data, analytics, or ML-driven product environment.
Strong understanding of data pipelines, behavioral data modeling, and real-world analytics limitations (e.g., identity resolution, latency, privacy).
Experience translating ambiguous business questions into scalable analytics solutions.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data science) through full product lifecycle.
Deep literacy in BI/visualization platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), with an eye toward moving beyond dashboards.
Experience with ML techniques (e.g., clustering, collaborative filtering, classification), and their business applications.
High standards for data usability, privacy, governance, and customer trust.
Structured, strategic thinker who thrives on complexity and can simplify for impact.
What you'll get:
- A hybrid working model - 3 days from the office, 2 days from home;
- Up to 6 weeks “work from anywhere” per year;
- A global and customized team onboarding program (9,1/10 rated by previous new hires);
- Thursday lunch on us (toasties, sandwiches, salads).
Why This Role is Special:
You’ll shape the future of analytics in a market where B2B buyers demand more intelligence, personalization, and transparency.
You’ll influence both internal product teams and external customer success through the power of data.
You’ll have the opportunity to build platform primitives, not just individual features—enabling multiple use cases to benefit from your work.
