We are seeking a qualified and experienced Register Accountant (RA) to support DGB Group N.V., a publicly listed company on Euronext Amsterdam and a leader in CO₂ projects and nature restoration initiatives. In line with Dutch regulations for Public Interest Entities (PIE or "OOB" in Dutch), DGB is legally required to have its financial statements audited by an OOB-qualified accountant.

Due to unforeseen medical circumstances impacting our current RA and the broader shortage of audit firms in the Netherlands, we require immediate support to finalize our ongoing audit. This is a critical and time-sensitive role, providing a unique opportunity for a dedicated RA to make an impact in a sustainability-driven organization.

As a Register Accountant, your primary focus will be on finalizing the audit of DGB Group’s financial statements. You will collaborate closely with the appointed OOB-audit firm, ensuring all statutory requirements and regulatory frameworks are met.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with the OOB Audit Firm
• Work alongside the appointed OOB-audit office to perform specific parts of the audit, adhering to Dutch legal and statutory requirements.
2. Supervision by the OOB Audit Firm
• While you will play a crucial role, the appointed OOB audit firm retains overall responsibility for the audit and the issuance of the audit opinion.
3. Providing Expertise
• Deliver specialized input on key audit areas in line with applicable audit standards under the supervision of the OOB audit firm.
