Job description

Don't see your job in the list? Good. Neither did most of us.

Crunch builds the data-driven companies of tomorrow, and tomorrow has a habit of needing roles we haven't written vacancies for yet. Some of our best people didn't apply to a job. They applied to Crunch.

That means we hire for the person first, and find the box later. Or skip the box entirely.

Maybe you're a data scientist who drifted into engineering and liked it there. An economist who taught themselves Python. A supply chain planner who automated half their own job and got curious about the other half. A developer who wants their code to change how a company decides, not just how a page renders. If you recognize yourself somewhere in that list, or precisely nowhere, we want to hear from you.

Our offer

Everything our other vacancies promise: an attractive salary package with benefits like an (optional) company car & fuel card, smartphone and gear, flexible mobility by car, train, and/or e-bike, and serious investment in your personal growth, with dedicated coaching and your own talent development roadmap. Offices in Ghent and Rotterdam, both in colorful neighborhoods with a vast array of after-work shenanigans, combined with the flexibility to work from home or on-site with clients.

Convinced you belong here, even without a vacancy to point at?

Then make your case. Send us your CV plus a short note on what you'd want to build at Crunch. No cover letter templates, please. We can smell those. If it clicks, we'll invite you for a conversation and figure out the role together.

Job requirements

What we look for, regardless of title:

  • Genuine curiosity, the kind that has hobbies, side projects, and opinions;

  • High standards, especially for your own work;

  • The ability to talk to humans, because our work only matters when people use it;

  • Drive, you don't wait for permission to make something better;

  • A healthy allergy to buzzwords, matched by real interest in what's underneath them.

What you'd be walking into: a ~25-person data & AI consultancy in Ghent and Rotterdam, working for Benelux companies on demand forecasting, pricing, data platforms, and AI that actually ships. Academic rigor, practical results, no black boxes. Plus board games, and colleagues who will absolutely make you defend your opinions over lunch.
