About C-Cube International
C-Cube International is a technology company based in Delft that develops sensors and data-driven solutions to measure and predict coating degradation and corrosion on steel structures. Our solutions help industries like offshore wind, oil & gas, and infrastructure make smarter maintenance decisions and extend asset lifetimes. We work with major players like Shell, KLM, and Boskalis, taking on projects across countries all over the world including China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, Belgium, the UK, France, and the United States.
But beyond the technology, we’re a growing international team that values collaboration, curiosity, and initiative. Everyone at C-Cube contributes to real-world projects, shares ideas freely, and learns from one another. It’s a place where you can take ownership of your work, grow quickly, and see the results of what you do.
About the R&D Team
Our R&D team develops the core technology behind C-Cube’s coating and corrosion measurement solutions. The team combines expertise in electrochemistry, mechanical engineering, software development, and product design. They work on improving our sensors, developing new test methods, and translating research into practical tools used in offshore wind, infrastructure, and other industries.
What You'll Do
- Finalize data processing algorithms for coating quality measurements and prepare them for open-source release on GitHub.
- Organize and structure data into a comprehensive database ready for machine learning and AI applications.
- Support data flow AWS (IoT core, Lambda) and data migration from AWS (Dynamo DB) to PostgreSQL to improve our cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with our R&D team to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analytics and dashboard applications.
Who You Are
- You are enrolled in a BSc or MSc degree in Data Science, Computer Science or other related field.
- You are a curious, hands-on problem solver with an interest in machine learning or data-driven systems.
- You are curious, flexible, and a team player.
- Comfortable to communicate in English and/or Dutch.
- You have a solid understanding of Pandas, NumPy for data analysis.
- You feel comfortable coding in Python, using SQL or PostgreSQL for data handling, and managing your work through GitHub.
- Familiarity with AWS tools (like IoT Core, Lambda, or DynamoDB) is a plus but not required (we’re happy to help you learn).
What We Offer
- Meaningful work on real, client-facing projects in a fast-growing tech environment.
- Work with a driven, young, international team at the intersection of technology, innovation, and materials monitoring.
- Mentoring and learning opportunities from experts to grow your skills in Python, SQL, AWS tools, and data engineering.
- Internship allowance.
