What you'll do

• Own and evolve our platform infrastructure, including cloud resources, networking, security, automation, and observability.
• Design, operate, and scale our data infrastructure, such as distributed analytical databases and streaming systems.
• Build and maintain our CI/CD backbone, ensuring fast, reliable, and repeatable deployments across environments.
• Act as a deep technical partner to backend engineers, helping solve architectural challenges that span infrastructure, data processing, distributed systems, and deployment workflows.
• Drive best practices around reliability, scalability, security, and cost-awareness.
• Automate everything that should not require human intervention, reducing operational load and the risk of errors.
• Help shape the culture and methodology of a rapidly growing company.

What we’re looking for

You’re a senior engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of software engineering and infrastructure, with a strong sense of ownership and pragmatism.

• 5+ years of professional experience building and operating cloud-based systems in production environments.
• Strong programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, or similar) and the ability to reason about complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and data infrastructure, such as Kafka, streaming platforms, and analytical databases (e.g. ClickHouse).
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based deployment workflows.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and infrastructure automation (Terraform/Ansible or similar).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience and/or relevant certifications.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset — you enjoy enabling other engineers and raising the bar across teams.
• Bonus: Experience with performance tuning of data-intensive systems.
