The Role

We are seeking a visionary Senior Manufacturing Professional for our CVD diamond production and related engineering operations. This role will be central to scaling and refining our core technology platforms, while also serving as a vital bridge between production, product development, machine engineering, and commercial teams to ensure product-market fit, reliability, and long-term success.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the complexity of thin-film growth, high-vacuum systems, plasma chemistry, and precision manufacturing—and also sees the value of aligning operations with customer and market needs.

Core Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Engineering Excellence

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
• Champion engineering excellence across product development, machine engineering, and process optimization.
• Implement lean principles, data-driven methodologies, and world-class operational standards.

Customer-Focused Manufacturing & Commercial Alignment

• Collaborate with commercial and product strategy teams to align product characteristics with customer performance needs (e.g., cutting tools, optics, electronics).
• Participate in technical sales efforts by contributing to key account discussions, product customization, and troubleshooting.
• Translate market feedback into engineering requirements to enable faster iteration and product differentiation.

Quality, Compliance & Product Integrity

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, EHS protocols, and quality management systems.
• Build robust quality frameworks for lab-grown diamond production and precision manufacturing.
• Build systems for traceability, in-line monitoring, and real-time defect detection.
• Drive product and process innovation while maintaining rigorous quality assurance.

Strategic Vision & Business Planning

• Co-develop long-term business strategy in close collaboration with the Management.
• Lead cost-modeling and process improvement initiatives to ensure competitiveness in high-precision markets.
• Evaluate and implement advanced automation and digital manufacturing tools.
• Translate business goals into operational roadmaps and technology development plans.
• Identify and evaluate partnerships, technology investments, and growth initiatives.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Inspire, lead, and develop high-performing technical and operational teams.
• Build onboarding and training programs to elevate organizational capability and maturity.
• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Cross-Functional & Executive Collaboration

• Collaborate with administrative (Finance, P&C and etc.) and commercial (Sales, Marketing and etc.) leaders to to align plant operations with broader business objectives.
• Oversee infrastructure, resource planning, and capital project execution.
• Support fundraising and investor communications from an operational and technical standpoint.

What We Value

Education

• Bachelor's in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Metallurgy, etc.).
• PhD preferred; MBA or executive management degree is a strong plus.

Experience

• 10–15+ years in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably in high-tech material or CVD-based production.
• 5+ years at Director level or higher, leading cross-functional teams and managing plant operations.
• Proven experience in process optimization, machine engineering, product lifecycle development, and quality assurance. (experience in high-spec manufacturing environments serving industrial tooling, semiconductors, optics, or medical sectors is highly desirable)
• Background in regulatory standards, safety systems, and complex manufacturing environments.

Leadership & Business Acumen:

• Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to scale operations in a fast-paced or start-up environment.
• Deep understanding of finance, budgeting, strategic planning, and organization design.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders and inspire teams.
• Track record of building scalable teams and systems in a growth-stage or deep-tech company.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project execution capabilities.
• Willingness to work on-site and reside in Istanbul (Anatolian Side) or Kocaeli.
