Main responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring correct presentation and data in the monthly report and challenge the financial controller in meeting deadlines, while upholding an accurate monthly report;
- Responsible for the analysis, implementation and reporting on ESG as required by the shareholders, as well as possible external requirements;
- Support in the preparation of the budget for the new year in collaboration with the VP’s and monitor the performance compared to budget;
- Support the VP Finance in preparing ad-hoc business cases and financial forecasts for the management team and C-suite;
- Ensure that the Tax Control Framework is up to date and potential risks are covered. Prepare the CIT filing and TP documentation and ensure timely filings on these taxes. Oversee timely and accurate filing of wage and VAT-tax (including but not limited to WKR);
- Assist in improving the short and long term forecasts for the company as a whole, as well as on a P&L level;
- Prepare and guide the external financial audits;
- Prepare and maintain the accounting manual and ensure proper application in internal and external reporting;
- Ensure timely payments of trade payables and loans while managing the cash requirements amongst all entities. Check the prepared payments for payment date and correct bank accounts;
- Monitor the outstanding IC-balances and advice on clearing of accounts through dividends and Share Premium conversions to optimize the tax planning; Reconciling and clearing intercompany balances, ensuring they accurately reflect the financial position of the consolidated entity.
What we ask from you:
- Minimum of 5 years experience at a bigger audit firm or in a financial/business control role. Experience in the aviation (after)market is a pre;
- Masters’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certification like RA or RC is a plus;
- Proficiency in financial software and systems;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Familiarity with international tax regulations;
- Team management skills;
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards;
- Fluency in English: As English is the predominant language of aviation, proficiency in English is typically essential for communication with regulatory authorities, suppliers, and international stakeholders.
