We are looking for a Work student IT (or related study) who would like to experience working within an engineering business, while being responsible for all IT related support within our organization. About the IT & Cloud team
Most of Ampelmann’s business growth ambitions contain a substantial IT component. Our IT & Cloud team is responsible for all IT, data, and reporting challenges within the company’s operations worldwide. This includes the Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure, IT hardware, business software (e.g., Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, CAD applications,) and Ampelmann data and reporting. Additionally, IT fulfills a vital role in strategic Ampelmann projects. To learn more about the team, do check out this video!

Your role
As a Work student IT you will support all our employees with the user related electronic equipment and software issues. You will gain experience and knowledge in IT activities. You will add value in a young pioneering environment and will be a part of loyal and energetic team.

Regular activities
  • First point of contact of the Helpdesk for all our employees (onshore & offshore)

  • First level support for the end user related to electronic equipment and software problems

  • Identifying, investigating, and resolving technical issues with the aim to maintain a secure electronic environment

  • Providing support with the onboarding & offboarding procedures

  • Assist in several ongoing IT projects i.e., iPad rollout project, Inventory management project

We ask
  • Background in IT/Informatica/LR or other relevant study or affinity with IT related topics

  • Availability for a minimum period of 6 months (preferably 9-12 months), minimum availability of 2 days per week

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Service-minded and problem-solving attitude

You get
  • A gross salary of EUR 15,- per hour (all-inclusive)

  • Travel reimbursement (when not in the possession of Student OV)
